Delivery & timing

Can you deliver a porta potty today?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works delivers same day in Frisco when you call by 12 PM (noon) and a truck is open on that route. A same-day rush fee of about $75–$150 is added and quoted before you book. The driver calls 30–60 minutes before arriving. Call (469) 326-5556 — same-day orders are taken by phone only.

My porta potty company canceled on me. Can you still get one out tomorrow?

Yes, in most cases. Next-day delivery is our standard in Frisco, Prosper, Little Elm, The Colony, Plano, McKinney and Allen. Call before 5 PM with the address, event start time and where the unit should go. We hold the slot once the first payment clears.

What time will the driver drop it off?

Drivers deliver between 7 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, in route order. We cannot promise an exact hour, but we note a morning or afternoon preference on the order. The driver calls or texts 30–60 minutes before arrival so you are not stuck waiting.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Dennis Rental Works delivers on Saturdays. The office and trucks are closed on Sundays. For a Saturday or Sunday event, we drop the unit Friday (or Saturday morning) and pick it up Monday. The extra days do not cost more.

Can you deliver over a holiday weekend like Labor Day or July 4th?

Yes, but holiday-weekend routes fill first. Book at least 7 days ahead for Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. Units for a holiday Monday are delivered on the last business day before the holiday and picked up on the next business day after it.

Will the driver call before showing up?

Yes. Every Dennis Rental Works driver calls or texts the on-site contact 30–60 minutes before arrival. Give us a second phone number if cell signal is weak at the site. Missed calls do not cancel the drop; the driver places the unit using your written notes.

Do I need to be home when you deliver?

No. You do not need to be on site if the placement notes are clear. Tell us the side of the house or lot, any gate code and anything to avoid, such as low wires or a septic lid. A photo or map pin texted to dispatch removes guesswork.

Can you drop it off the day before my event?

Yes. Day-before delivery is our standard for events, at no extra cost. Your restroom is set, clean and stocked before guests arrive, and you are not depending on a same-day delivery window. Pickup is usually the next business day after the event.

I already booked. How do I check when my unit will arrive?

Call dispatch at (469) 326-5556 with the delivery address or invoice number. We check the driver's route live and give you the stop order or an estimated window. Deliveries scheduled for today are on a route by 7 AM.

How far ahead should I book a porta potty?

Book a jobsite unit 1–2 business days ahead. Book a weekend event 1–2 weeks ahead. Book spring and fall Saturdays and holiday weekends 2–4 weeks ahead. Book restroom trailers for weddings 4–8 weeks ahead, because trailer supply runs out first.

Cost & payment

How much does it cost to rent a porta potty in Frisco?

A standard porta potty rental from Dennis Rental Works usually runs about $175–$275 per 28-day cycle with weekly cleaning included. A one-time delivery and pickup fee of about $45–$110 is added on the first invoice. These are estimates; your written quote is final.

How much is a porta potty for one day or a weekend party?

One standard porta potty for a one-day or weekend event usually totals about $225–$375 with delivery and pickup included. The unit arrives clean and stocked. A deluxe flushing unit with a sink runs about $350–$500 for the same event. Quotes are itemized before you pay.

Is there a delivery fee?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works charges one combined delivery-and-pickup fee of about $45–$110, set by drive distance from Frisco. The fee appears once, on the first invoice. Later 28-day cycles do not repeat it. Same-day orders add a separate rush fee, quoted upfront.

Why does a 3-day rental cost about the same as a month?

Most of the cost is truck time: the delivery trip, the service trip and the pickup trip. A 3-day construction rental still needs all three trips, so jobsite units are priced per 28-day cycle. Short event rentals are priced per event instead, which is usually cheaper for 1–3 days.

What is included in the rental price?

Each Dennis Rental Works quote includes the unit, delivery, pickup, two rolls of toilet paper, hand sanitizer and deodorizer. 28-day rentals include weekly pumping, cleaning and restocking. Tax, any rush fee and any extra service visits are listed as separate lines.

Do you charge extra for same-day or emergency delivery?

Yes. Same-day delivery adds a rush fee of about $75–$150 because a driver has to leave a set route. Next-day delivery usually has no rush fee. The fee is quoted on the phone before you pay, never added after.

Can you do a better price for a long rental or several units?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works discounts multi-unit orders and jobs expected to run three or more 28-day cycles. Builders with several lots in one Frisco subdivision can bundle units onto one route and one invoice. Ask for the multi-unit rate when you call.

How do I pay? Do you take cash?

Dennis Rental Works takes Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and debit cards. Businesses can request a monthly emailed invoice. We do not take cash at delivery. You get an emailed invoice to review and e-sign before anything is charged.

Do I pay upfront or after?

You pay the first 28-day cycle, or the full event price, when you book. That payment reserves the unit and the truck slot. Long-term rentals bill automatically every 28 days until you call for pickup. There is no separate security deposit.

What does a 28-day billing cycle mean?

A 28-day cycle is our billing period for jobsite and long-term rentals. The unit can stay as long as you need it. Every 28 days on site starts a new cycle at the same rate, minus the one-time delivery fee. Billing stops on the day we pick the unit up.

How much does a restroom trailer cost?

A two-stall restroom trailer from Dennis Rental Works usually runs about $1,500–$2,300 for a 1–3 day event. The price includes delivery, setup, cleaning and pickup. Larger trailers are quoted per event. The site needs a standard outlet and a garden hose connection.

How much is a handicap-accessible porta potty?

A wheelchair-accessible unit usually runs about $250–$325 per 28-day cycle with weekly cleaning, or about $250–$375 for a one-weekend event. Delivery and pickup are included in event pricing and added once on jobsite pricing.

How much is a deluxe porta potty with a sink?

A deluxe flushing porta potty with a built-in sink usually runs about $350–$500 for a 1–3 day event, delivered, stocked and picked up. For week-long business use, ask for the weekly rate. Prices are estimates until you get a written quote.

Do you sell porta potties?

No. Dennis Rental Works rents units only. Renting covers pumping, waste disposal at a licensed facility and repairs, which an owned unit does not. For a permanent restroom need, ask about a year-round 28-day rental with weekly service.

Units & equipment

What is the difference between a standard and a deluxe porta potty?

A standard porta potty has a toilet seat over a 60-gallon holding tank, a urinal and hand sanitizer. A deluxe unit adds a flushing toilet and a hand-wash sink with soap and paper towels. Guests do not see the tank. Deluxe units cost more and suit weddings and customer events.

Does the deluxe toilet actually flush? Is it just an open hole?

Yes, the deluxe toilet flushes. A foot pump sends clean flush water into the bowl, and a flapper closes over the tank, much like an airplane toilet. Guests do not see the waste. The sink uses a separate fresh-water pump.

Does the porta potty with a sink need a water hookup?

No. Deluxe units and handwashing stations are self-contained. Each one carries its own fresh-water tank and gray-water tank, so you do not need a hose, outlet or plumbing. Only restroom trailers need a garden hose and an outlet.

Do you have handicap-accessible porta potties? Are they ADA compliant?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works rents the PolyJohn Comfort XL, which PolyJohn describes as a handicap-accessible portable toilet with a ground-level, barrier-free floor. Whether a full setup meets the 2010 ADA Standards also depends on level ground and an accessible route, so we call it wheelchair-accessible, not ADA-compliant.

What are the dimensions of your handicap unit? Will it fit my existing pad?

The PolyJohn Comfort XL measures 62 inches wide, 62 inches deep and 91 inches tall, and weighs about 240 pounds empty. The door opening is about 32 inches wide. A pad at least 6 feet by 6 feet, plus room to approach the door, fits it.

Will a porta potty fit through my backyard gate?

A standard PolyJohn PJN3 is 43.5 inches wide and 47 inches deep. The crew needs a gate at least 48 inches wide and a firm, step-free path to roll it on a dolly. A wheelchair-accessible unit is 62 inches wide and usually needs a double gate or front-yard placement.

Do your porta potties come with seat covers?

Every Dennis Rental Works standard unit includes hand sanitizer and two rolls of toilet paper. Toilet seat cover dispensers can be added on request at no extra charge for jobsite accounts. Ask when you book so the driver loads them on delivery day.

What does a restroom trailer need on site?

A restroom trailer needs a standard 120-volt, 20-amp outdoor outlet within about 100 feet and a garden hose spigot within about 100 feet. It needs level ground the truck can back onto. Without water or power, ask about a fresh-water tank and generator add-on.

Do your restroom trailers have air conditioning?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works restroom trailers have air conditioning and heat, flushing toilets, running-water sinks, lighting and mirrors. Air conditioning matters in Frisco from May through September, when afternoon highs often reach the upper 90s.

Do you rent hand washing stations?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works rents the PolyJohn Bravo two-station sink. The Bravo holds 22 gallons of fresh water and is rated by PolyJohn at nearly 350 uses before refilling. Each station has a foot pump, soap and paper towels. Food events and jobsites use them most.

Do you do pump-out service for RVs or toilets you did not rent?

Dennis Rental Works pumps and services its own rental units. For RV holding tanks or an owned portable toilet, call dispatch with the address and tank size. We take those jobs when a service truck is already routed nearby, and quote before we come.

Cleaning & service

How often do you clean the porta potty?

Dennis Rental Works services 28-day rentals once a week. Event rentals arrive clean and stocked, and multi-day events get service between days. High-traffic sites can add a second weekly visit. Each visit is logged with the date and time.

What happens during a service visit?

A service visit has five steps. The technician pumps the holding tank, scrubs the seat, walls and floor, refills the blue deodorizer, restocks toilet paper and sanitizer, and checks the door, latch and vent. Waste goes to a licensed disposal facility.

Can I get cleaning once a month instead of every week?

Yes, for low-use private property. A unit used by one family a few days a month can be serviced every 28 days at a lower rate. Dennis Rental Works recommends weekly service from May to September, because Frisco heat makes a full tank smell fast.

Can I add an extra cleaning before a big day?

Yes. Call by noon the day before and dispatch adds an extra service visit to the next route. An extra visit runs about $45–$85 per unit. Jobsites often add one before an inspection, a client walkthrough or a busy concrete pour.

What if a service visit gets missed?

Call (469) 326-5556. Dennis Rental Works re-routes a missed service within one business day and credits the missed visit on your next invoice. Our service logs show the date and time of every visit, so a missed visit is easy to confirm.

Will a porta potty smell bad in the Texas heat?

Heat speeds up odor. In Frisco, where July and August highs often pass 95°F, keep weekly service, place the unit in shade if possible, and turn the vent away from where people sit. Heavy-use sites should add a second weekly service in midsummer.

Placement & site prep

Where should I put the porta potty?

Put the unit on firm, level ground within about 25 feet of where the truck can park. Keep it off sidewalks and streets, at least 10 feet from doors and windows, and clear of overhead wires and septic lids. The service truck must reach it every week.

Can you put it in my backyard?

Yes, if the crew can roll it there. Units arrive empty and go in by hand truck. The path needs a gate at least 48 inches wide, firm ground and no steps. Wet clay after rain can make backyard placement impossible until the ground dries.

Will your truck damage my driveway or lawn?

Drivers avoid soft ground and use the shortest firm path. Heavy trucks can still mark wet lawns. Under our rental terms, Dennis Rental Works is not responsible for driveway, sprinkler or landscaping damage at the placement you request. Tell us about sprinkler heads and soft spots.

I have low wires and trees over my driveway. Is that a problem?

Tell dispatch when you book. Delivery trucks need open overhead space where they stop, and drivers avoid low wires, branches and roof eaves. We note the hazard on the order, and the driver may place the unit by hand truck from the street side instead.

Can the porta potty go on the street or sidewalk in Frisco?

Keep it on private property. Units on a Frisco sidewalk, street or alley can block access and draw a code complaint. If private property is not possible, ask the City of Frisco about right-of-way use before delivery.

Will my HOA let me have a porta potty?

Most Frisco HOAs allow a portable toilet during permitted construction or a short event, but rules vary by community. Check your HOA covenants first. Placing the unit at the side or rear of the home, with the door turned away from the street, avoids most complaints.

Can you stake the unit down so it does not blow over?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works can stake or strap units on open jobsites and windy lots at no charge when requested. North Texas spring storms can bring strong gusts, so anchoring is a good idea on bare lots from March through June.

Rules & permits

How many porta potties does my crew need under OSHA?

OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c) Table D-1 sets the minimum. 20 or fewer workers need 1 toilet. 20 or more workers need 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. 200 or more need 1 seat and 1 urinal per 50. Check your contract and permit for stricter rules.

Does Frisco require a porta potty on residential construction sites?

Yes. The City of Frisco Residential Inspection Checklist (February 2026) requires 1 sanitation facility per 5 building sites, no more than 200 feet walking distance apart. Facilities must be on site at the start of construction and kept serviced. Confirm details with Frisco Building Inspections.

Do I need a handwashing station on my jobsite?

OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities where workers handle paints, coatings, herbicides or other harmful substances. Many general contractors require a sink on every jobsite anyway. A PolyJohn Bravo two-station sink holds 22 gallons and is serviced on the same weekly visit.

Do I need a permit for a porta potty at my Frisco event?

Restrooms alone do not need a city permit. A Frisco special event permit is needed for events with 100 or more attendees, street closures, food vendors, large tents or park locations. Frisco says applications filed less than 30 days ahead may be denied. Call the Special Events Permitting Committee at 972-292-6651.

Events & sizing

How many porta potties do I need for 100 people?

For 100 guests at a 4-hour event, plan 2 standard porta potties. Add 1 unit if alcohol is served, for 3 total. For a 6-hour event, plan 3 units, or 4 with alcohol. Include 1 wheelchair-accessible unit when guests may need one.

How many restrooms do I need for a 150-guest wedding?

A 150-guest, 5-hour wedding with a bar needs 5 standard units in our sizing table: 4 for the guest count and length, plus 1 because alcohol is served. One should be wheelchair-accessible. A two-stall restroom trailer can replace 3–4 standard units for most weddings.

Is one restroom trailer enough for 80 guests?

Yes. One two-stall restroom trailer serves about 80 guests for a 4–5 hour event. Add a wheelchair-accessible portable unit if any guest may need one, because many trailers have steps. Bigger crowds or longer events need a larger trailer or added units.

Do I need a handicap porta potty at my event?

Where accessible restrooms are required, the 2010 ADA Standards section 213.2 calls for at least 5% of portable units in each cluster, and no fewer than one, to be accessible. Dennis Rental Works recommends at least 1 accessible unit for any event of 100 or more guests.

Can I rent just one porta potty for a birthday party at my house?

Yes. One standard porta potty covers about 50 guests for a 4-hour backyard party. Dennis Rental Works delivers the day before and picks up the next business day. Many Frisco families choose a deluxe flushing unit with a sink for parties, because guests do not see the tank.

Booking, terms & policies

What do you need from me to book?

Dispatch needs five things: the delivery address and ZIP, the delivery and pickup dates, the unit type and count, an on-site contact phone, and placement notes. You also give a card and its billing address, and an email for the invoice and receipt.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel 48 hours or more before scheduled delivery for a full refund. Cancel between 48 and 24 hours before delivery for a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of delivery, or after the truck is dispatched, are not refundable. Read our full rental terms before booking.

How do I end my rental and get it picked up?

Call (469) 326-5556 or email dispatch when you are done. Dennis Rental Works does not pick up long-term units automatically, so billing continues until you request pickup. Billing stops on your pickup request date, and the truck collects the unit within 1–2 business days.

Can I keep the porta potty longer than I planned?

Yes. Just keep it. A 28-day rental rolls into the next cycle automatically at the same rate. For an event rental, call before the scheduled pickup and dispatch moves the pickup date. Extra days on an event unit are quoted before we change the order.

What if the porta potty gets damaged or tipped over?

Normal wear is on us. Damage from vandalism, fire, vehicle strikes or misuse is billed to the renter at repair or replacement cost. If a unit tips over, call right away. Dennis Rental Works sends a truck to clean up and reset it, and a cleanup fee applies.

Are you a local company or a call center?

Dennis Rental Works is a local operator based at 6807 Main St, Frisco, TX 75034. We own our units and run our own trucks. When you call, you talk to dispatch in Frisco, not a national call center that hands your order to another company.

Can I get the invoice by email and sign it online?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works emails an itemized invoice you can read and e-sign from your phone. The invoice lists the unit, dates, delivery and pickup, servicing and tax. Your receipt is emailed again once the payment posts.

Can I switch to you from my current porta potty company?

Yes. Many customers switch to Dennis Rental Works because a past company missed service visits. Tell us your current unit's size, and we deliver the same footprint on the day your old company picks up. Your pad, screening or anchor spot stays the same.

Do you rent porta potties year-round for parks, trails or farms?

Yes. Dennis Rental Works keeps units on parks, trails, sports fields, ranches and church grounds all year on 28-day cycles with weekly service. Seasonal sites can add a second unit for busy months and send it back in the slow season.
