What do industrial sites need for portable restrooms?
Industrial sites need enough toilets to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51 for their peak crew, handwashing where workers handle harmful substances, and a service schedule that holds up in an audit. Dennis Rental Works provides standard and accessible units, PolyJohn Bravo sinks, dated service logs and one invoice across every site.
| Site type | Typical setup |
|---|---|
| Warehouse expansion | 2–4 standard units + 1 handwash station |
| Solar or roofing crew | 1 unit per crew, moved with the crew |
| Utility right-of-way work | Units staged at access points; relocation on request |
| Plant shutdown / turnaround | Short-term surge units with twice-weekly service |
Can you move units as my crew moves?
Yes. Dennis Rental Works relocates units between sites or along a corridor when you call by noon the day before. Solar, utility and pipeline crews often move every few weeks. A relocation fee may apply, and it is listed on the quote. The 28-day billing cycle continues without a new delivery fee.
How is billing handled for multiple sites?
Multi-site accounts get one monthly emailed invoice that lists every unit, address, cycle date and service visit. Each site can have its own on-site contact. Cards on file or approved net terms both work. Volume pricing starts at 5 units across all sites.
Questions renters ask us
How many porta potties does my crew need under OSHA?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c) Table D-1 sets the minimum. 20 or fewer workers need 1 toilet. 20 or more workers need 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. 200 or more need 1 seat and 1 urinal per 50. Check your contract and permit for stricter rules.
Do I need a handwashing station on my jobsite?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities where workers handle paints, coatings, herbicides or other harmful substances. Many general contractors require a sink on every jobsite anyway. A PolyJohn Bravo two-station sink holds 22 gallons and is serviced on the same weekly visit.
How do I pay? Do you take cash?
Dennis Rental Works takes Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and debit cards. Businesses can request a monthly emailed invoice. We do not take cash at delivery. You get an emailed invoice to review and e-sign before anything is charged.
What if a service visit gets missed?
Call (469) 326-5556. Dennis Rental Works re-routes a missed service within one business day and credits the missed visit on your next invoice. Our service logs show the date and time of every visit, so a missed visit is easy to confirm.
Can you do a better price for a long rental or several units?
Yes. Dennis Rental Works discounts multi-unit orders and jobs expected to run three or more 28-day cycles. Builders with several lots in one Frisco subdivision can bundle units onto one route and one invoice. Ask for the multi-unit rate when you call.
